From the late 1970s Harris Boatbuilders of Laleham hired two Bounty 37 Mk II models, “Laleham Kingfisher class” from their base near Chertsey.
When they finished hiring around the mid 1990‘s these two craft entered private ownership.
In the summer of 2009 one was spotted near to her original home on the River Thames and we were contacted by the owners of the other which has recently changed into their ownership and had moved to the Norfolk Broads a few years earlier. She is still in her original gelcoat and the interior is much the original Recently she has had added a new inverter, new fridge, new cooker and had the batteries beefed up to four with a bigger alternator
