Buccaneer/Musketeer 30

Best known as a Bounty 30 or Buccaneer 30. Building on the success of the 37ft the 30ft lost the central sleeping cabin but was very similar in all other respects. The window frames were always square edged though, rather than rounded on the 37ft MKI.

The aft cabin was produced as shown, but also with another single where the wardrobe etc is shown. Often the two rear singles could be pushed together to form a double.

The 12ft width makes this a spacious feeling cruiser for just 30ft, and the engine situated at the rear helps make for a quiet cruise.

In the saloon most craft were fitted with the fold up bed. This could stay made up but cleverly stored up, out of the way during the day, just like on the 37ft version. Over the years the layouts have sometimes been altered to include fixed or free standing seating in this flexible open space.
