Often known as the Bounty 28. Launched for 1980, a 28ft, narrower beam version of the Buccaneer range. The 28 had a full sliding canopy over the forward saloon.
Normally arranged with a double cabin at the rear, bathroom in the centre with galley opposite and then a forward saloon with a settee single or double and helm opposite.
The forward well differs from the larger Buccaneers in having a different arrangement and smaller well. As with all Buccaneers access is good to both front and rear and there is a single floor level throughout.
During the early 1990‘s the mould was revised slightly and a MK II version was produced. When the canopy is closed this no longer has the forward overhang covering the windscreen. A few were built which had the bathroom made smaller and pulled out from the hull-side to allow a compact single cabin to be put in behind and up to five berths be offered.
